Can my room be turned into a Hot Room?
To turn a space into a proper Hot Room, a few key factors should be in place:
- Ceiling load capacity: Each infrared heater weighs approx. 15 kg.
- Ceiling height: Ideally 2.7 to 3.5 meters, so all standing postures and arm‑extended movements can be performed comfortably.
- Floor type: Concrete floors absorb heat poorly – a suitable studio floor is recommended.
If your space meets these criteria, it can become a Hot Room.
How many infrared heaters does my Hot Room need?
The number of heaters depends on several factors:
– room size
– ceiling height
– insulation
– desired temperature
– room shape
– available ceiling space
As a guideline:
A 30 m² Hot Room typically requires around 4 infrared heaters.

Do infrared heaters for Hot Rooms emit red light?
No. Our infrared heaters use a different type of infrared warmth compared to classic red-light lamps.
There is no visible red light – the heat is invisible, but deeply noticeable

Do I need an electrician for the installation?
You don’t need an electrician for the mounting itself – you or an installer can handle that.
However, an electrician is required for the electrical connection and safety setup.

How warm can my Hot Room get?
Our infrared heaters can heat your room up to 45 °C.

Can I create heating schedules for my classes?
Yes.
You can set up a weekly heating schedule directly on the thermostat, or create a full yearly heating plan in the SUNNYHEATconnect app

How long does my Hot Room need to heat up before a class?
This depends on your room, the number of heaters, and your target temperature.
As a general guideline, plan for about 45 minutes of preheating time.

How much electricity does one Hot Room class typically consume?
Energy consumption varies depending on your preferred temperature, room characteristics, and number of heaters.
Here is an example
- 36 m² studio
- 5 infrared heaters (2 kW each)
- 45 min preheating + 60 min class
- Maximum consumption (if heaters run at full power): 17.5 kWh
- at 0.32 €/kWh → 5.60 € per class
With SUNNYHEAT’s intelligent regulation, the heaters reduce power once your target temperature is reached.
So instead of 17.5 kWh, your real consumption may be around 14 kWh → 4.48 €.
